Does the Motorola Razr Plus 2024 support eSIM?

The Motorola Razr Plus 2024 is not in our list of eSIM compatible phones, so it may not support eSIM. Our list does not include every model yet: check your phone settings to be sure before you buy.

  • The phone must be unlocked: a carrier-locked phone cannot add a new eSIM.

To install an eSIM on your Motorola, follow these instructions:

If you have an internet connection, connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIM & mobile network.
Tap Download and set up an eSIM, and follow the on-screen instructions.
If you do not see the eSIM option in the settings, it means your Motorola does not support eSIM.

    Open the phone app and dial this code. If an EID number shows up, the phone supports eSIM.

    Look for an EID number. Under Carrier Lock, "No SIM restrictions" means the iPhone is unlocked.

    If you can add an eSIM there, the phone supports it. Menu names change a little from brand to brand.

Unlocked phones only. A phone locked to a carrier cannot add an eSIM from another provider, even when the model supports eSIM. Ask your carrier to unlock it before you travel.
